Indiana Stage Fair Collapse

The is what the Indiana State Fair Stage collapse looked like from the air after the event. We all need to remember that safety is more important than risking peoples lives. So remember to think about the job you are doing. Remember to do it safely and make sure you know that that tasks you are doing of the equipment you are rigging be safe for those that are near it or are using it. We need to be vigilant at all times no matter how small or big the event is. We want the audience, performers and all crew to arrive home safely each night. Do not be afraid to speak up. If you do not have the skills don’t undertake the task, let someone know you are not trained in that area. Safety is everybody’s concern. The person who is not concerned is likely to cause a death or injury do not let it be you.
