Golden Grove Arts Centre
The Golden Grove Arts Centre is part of the Golden Grove Recreation and Arts Centre complex located on The Golden Way at Golden Grove. The complex was officially opened in July 1993.
The Arts Centre is a multipurpose venue and, due to the flexible nature of its design, is able to accommodate a wide range of activities and social functions. The Centre has a performing arts theatre, exhibition gallery, meeting and function rooms. The venue is wheelchair friendly and has ample off street parking.
All rooms are available for hire at affordable rates.

Overview: The is really a bit of a gem. This venue has a suprising amount of good technical equipment such as – Yamaha digital audio desk, Maxim lighting desk and EAW speakers. There is plenty of equipment and expertise to put on an amazing show. I suggest you give them a call and visit you will be pleasantly surprised.
Bakehouse Theatre
The Bakehouse is a charming, intimate live theatre at the east end of Angas Street, just a minute’s walk away from the popular restaurant strip in Hutt St, and five minutes walk to The Garden of Unearthly Delights during Fringe time.
You may rely on encountering a warm, welcoming atmosphere where there is no need to dress up, where you may often run into someone you know and where you can take your drinks into the theatre with you. We have two theatre spaces – the main theatre, (capacity 76) and the newly opened studio theatre (capacity 44)

Overview
Great venues for independent theatre groups. There is a reasonable level of equipment and great support. The venues can be hired for reasonable rates. Good location.
